General Psychiatry Outpatient Consultations
As a consultant psychiatrist with almost 30 years clinical experience, I can offer face-to-face or zoom consultations to assess and manage patients with a range of psychiatric conditions, for adults and older teenagers including:

Depression

Anxiety

PTSD and other trauma-based issues

Eating Disorders

Addictions

Outpatient consultations take the form of an initial assessment for up to 90-minutes.

Follow-up sessions for 50-minutes.

No formal GP referral is required. Patients may self-refer directly to me.

We may progress without formal contact with your GP. But if changes to medications are required, I would need to be in touch with your GP, for the GP to dispense additions or changes to prescription of medicines if indicated.

As well as psychiatric / medicines management, if a course of 1:1 psychotherapy is desired, we can discuss this. Either you can continue seeing me for 1:1 sessions, or I can refer you on to a psychologist colleague for further therapy.
ADULT General Psychiatry Consultation Fees:

Initial Assessment Session (60-minutes) + detailed written report = £450.00

Follow-Up Session (30-60 minutes) with written report = £200.00

Follow-Up Session (30-60 minutes) with no report required = £150.00
ADOLESCENT General Psychiatry Consultations:

Initial Assessment Session (90-minutes) + detailed written report = £550.00

I am not currently providing any direct medical services. I will be returning to full-time clinical work in April 2025, at which point details of how to book consultations will be available on this website.
